The Community Crime Awareness Association is a not-for-profit volunteer organization formed by members of the Greater Toronto Area Chinese community in
1997. The organization is dedicated to promoting crime awareness and crime prevention in the community, ultimately making the community a safer and better place to live and do business.
Initiatives
Here are some of CCAA's initiatives:
- Making people aware of the nature and extent of crimes against property and people in the community
- Telling people what steps they can take to reduce crime in the community
- Implementing safety projects and communication programs
- Providing a forum for discussion of common interests
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of CCAA are unpaid, and are carefully selected to represent diverse elements of the community to assure fair representation, objective application of the principals of the organization, and professional application of available resources.
